1. Teams will
play as the seed noted on the website as of the Thursday preceding
their 2. Each team will provide one new game ball per game. 3. The higher seed will be the home team. 4. PITCHING: League limits to be adhered to per two consecutive games (i.e. if you are allowed 7 innings per week, you are allowed 7 innings per two consecutive games). Over pitching will result in a win being forfeited. If you lose the game and over pitch a player, you (the head coach) will be suspended for the remainder of the tournament. NOTE: All pitching goes back to zero upon start of tournament. 5. REPORTING: The Tournament Director will be responsible for submitting the scorecards. The winning team is responsible for communicating scorecard information to the tournament director. 6. EJECTIONS: If a coach is ejected, he/she is done for the tournament...you will NOT participate in State should your team qualify. If a player is ejected, he will serve a one-game suspension. 7. Umpire decisions are final. Keep it in perspective. 8. PROTESTS: If you wish to protest based on a RULE INTERPRETATION only, it will only be accepted in the correct protest manner…do not call me, do not expect me to answer an e-mail. It must be in letter form, delivered to my house with a check made out to West Hills Baseball District for $100 by midnight the night of the protest (refundable ONLY if protest upheld). 9. Time limits… per the JBO rule Book. 10. Minimum Playing Time…per JBO Rule Book. 11. Ties will be played until a winner is determined. If a game is called for darkness, and is a tie, the game shall be continued the next day. A game is considered legal based on the JBO Rule Book. 12. Rainouts will change everything…my decision shall be final. If the weather does not allow a winner of the tournament to be determined, then the league standings shall be the determining factor, regardless of tournament games played. 13. All complaints regarding the format, the seeding, the play days, etc. will be accepted after August 1st. Keep them to yourself until then, and if you still feel the need to complain, send me an e-mail after that date. Charlie Osburn
